Honestly, good. This is the better approach. Hopefully it bodes well for the next GTA.

It just prolongs the end. If they can't innovate it's just a dead company walking, using their corporate power to squeeze the life out of the old original thoughts they had.

I wouldn't expect this to make gta better, just less competition for rockstar now.

In an ideal world, this would mean that they're beginning to understand that moddability gives their games a lot more longevity. But, I highly doubt that's what's going on.
