Hey! It's "comunnities" button search broken here ? I find a few communities that I like to join f in brose.feddit.de, and I can't find from here. And now, I see the annuncement that lemmy.blahaj.zone/c/unixsocks was created to move /r/unixsocks from Reddit, and I can't find it or join from here ?

What it's the problem ?

I found i usually have to search for them twice, Its like the first search finds them for the server, then the second search actually "finds" them for me

You’ll need to manually search for communities we’re not already federated with. If you go to the search bar you can search for them like so:

!unixsocks@lemmy.blahaj.zone

Then you’ll see them added to the community list and you can subscribe to them there.

Hopefully Lemmy will make this process easier/more obvious in the future.

Edit: the pinned post (https://lib.lgbt/post/508) has the same instructions phrased differently if those make more sense.
