Cool. Looking forward to it. 😊👍
The main problem is that unlike lenny ... kbin does not (yet) have an API ... expect the floodgates to open when that is done (it's being worked on right now)
Thanks! That's great news! 😊👍
Hariette posted that she thinks #ArtemisApp will be publicly available within a week:
https://tech.lgbt/@hariette/110800032271275199
...but with the caveat that right now it will only work for users subscribed to her kbin instance (this is because she has enabled an API which has been in development, and is now undergoing review).
There are others in development too, but full release of the API and roll out of this to kbin.social is key first.
Oh, that’s exciting! I’ve been waiting for this. I loved Apollo for Reddit and I’ve read that it’s very similar. I can’t wait to try it.
Awesome! 😊👍
I'm commenting using the Artemis app, it's awesome! Hariette is doing an incredible job and the app keeps getting better and better :)
Can’t wait! 😊👍
Once the kbin API is complete and publically available, most of the Lemmy apps I've looked at are intending to add support.
Fantastic! 😊👍
I know this is not the thread for this, but I just don’t understand why we need two separate apps sitting on top of the of the fediverse that to my eyes do exactly the same thing.
Can you clarify? As of my knowledge kbin doesn't have an app yet and lemmy apps don't support kbin.
