THE essential one is ublock origin imo.
Other than that if its a PC i will browse youtube on then sponsorblock and dearrow are both really great
Get off Chrome. It might be used by most, but it collects so much information and Google is neutering ad blockers. Not to mention that not using Firefox contributes to the monoculture of webkit and blink, which has a long list of problems. Overall, Firefox is better for users and the web overall.
Firefox is my personal favorite but you need to be sure and launch the Chrome browser using the Firefox icon for it to work.
