I was looking into the API available for Kbin and it looks like it's currently just read-only, is this correct? Is this even the case for your own instance of it?

The reference can be found here if anyone is curious. I was hoping it allowed posting of comments/new posts in some fashion that I could play with.

Thanks for that, good to see its being worked on. I mostly just wanted to make sure I didn't misunderstand the docs and some of that functionality had been added already and/or the docs were just not updated.

@Maxcoffee

You can spin up your own copy of kbin and play with that. That's what another person who asked about this the other day was going to do.

Sure but the API documentation doesn't have POST options at all, only gets. Are you saying that it has more options than what is in the docs if you self host it?

@Maxcoffee

I haven't read the docs, I was just saying if you spun up a host you can turn on the API in yours and play with that one, rather than the main one here

ernest currently disabled the API to focus on the website. He will probably re-enable it later down when he finalizes the website.
