Is it possible to group/filter multiple magazines together when browsing? So I could build up a thread view based on a topic and pull in threads from the different Magazines that I have selected?

(I understand kbin is still new so this probably doesn't exist yet.. doesn't hurt to ask in case there is a clever way of doing it)_

@Caph

Multi-communities are probably going to be worked on after the more urgent stability/scalability work happening now.

Once codeberg.org is up again, check the issues in the repo for current asks around multi-comms: https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core

On a similar topic is it possible to use the /d/ link to show threads for that instance only rather than anything that member of that instances posts across the whole verse?

e,g, I'd like to browse https://kbin.social/d/startrek.website and just see posts to startrek.website magazines

@Caph

It seems to do that when I go to your link.

@JollyRoberts

Do you mean the https://kbin.social/d/startrek.website link?

When I go there it shows me all posts to startrek.website but also all posts from startrek.website

So as well as Threads on the startrek instances magazines I can also see what startrek users are posting on other instances / non-startrek magazines.

(I can see cat posts for example!)

Sorry if I haven't explained it well or gotten the terminology wrong.. still learning my way around here

@Caph

I see what you mean.

Try this: go to that link. In the top right of the interface, click the triangle looking fediverse icon. Thhen click federation status to 'off'.

After that it should show just threads on the startrek.website site.

@JollyRoberts

Gave that a go but didn't seem to make any difference. Tried it in both Firefox & Chrome
