Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Anytime I post a comment (in a non local community?) it doesn't show up. It's there I just can't see it unless I go to my own profile or someone replies to it.

Also I just edited "lost" to "post" but I'm not seeing that change either. Maybe it saved, maybe it didn't..

Haha, I was just contemplating if this is worth writing a post for. I think it's a caching thing.... Maybe invalidating the cached post/comment after posting/editing is enough to fix it?

Also that edit of the OP did go through as well. Just couldn't see it on my end right away. I agree probably a cache issue.

I had this happen once earlier today, it showed up after a couple minutes along with a bunch of other comments that weren't there before.

On this post I had posted the 2nd comment in reply to op. When I came back a while later it said there are now 8 comments on it, but it wouldn't show any of the new ones until I reopened the post from op's profile.

Try to relad the view.

Does the problem persist?

[–] Sir_Kevin 1 points 2 years ago

No change after reload. I'll see if restarting the app entirely allows me to see this comment.

Even after restarting the app I can't see the other comment I just posted under fraenki.

My best guess is once somebody else contributes to the thread it will update.
