I just started growing food. Mostly as therapy, I just got clean about a yr ago. It's super therapeutic and fulfilling.
Lots of work, but there is a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with it.
The actual food is kind of just icing. (:
What is a Life Pro Tip?
A Life Pro Tip (or an LPT) is a specific action with definitive results that improves life for you and those around you in a specific and significant way.
Keep in mind that an aphorism is not a LPT.
An aphorism is a a short clever saying that is intended to express a general truth or a concise statement of a principle.
Examples of aphorisms:
"A barking dog never bites."
"No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible."
"All stones are broken stones."

When I was growing my dad used to grow corn, green beans, tomatoes, and a few other things. In the suburbs of Ontario Canada.
Today, my garden, as a renter, is growing cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, peppers, and an assortment of herbs.
These were all started from cuttings, or seed either from another plant or local library seed bank, or the dollar store.
It is my meditation.
I started growing veggies last year, and have continued this year. Currently have Heirloom & early girl tomatoes, jalapeños, sriracha jalapeños, habaneros, ghost peppers, horn peppers, Carolina reaper peppers, few different varieties of bell peppers 3 blueberry bushes, a few strawberry plants & a golden raspberry bush on my apartment patio. Hoping to get some melon plants as well
I've tried growing basil and green onions. These guys are apparently fool-proof, yet all I managed to grow was a bed of moss. To be fair, they were really cute moss and I wish I knew how to grow them on purpose.
