I'd like some more information? Is this basically just an immense paved pathway? Who's maintaining it?

I'm not downtown much, but if it's roller-blade/skate suitable, i might bring my wheels and check it out some sunny day this summer.

This is an IMMENSE pathway. Circling 27.5miles of Detroit, Dearborn, Highland Park, and Hamtramck. It is connected to the existing riverfront pathway which is being extended to Belle Isle. There are numerous non-profits involved with the City of Detroit to make this happen. It is open to ALL of the public and will be a great way to get around the city as well as help bring foot/bike traffic further out from the downtown core.

The full greenway and the bike lanes on the new bridge to canada are going to be game changers. So stoked.

I want to have an event where we get a large group of people on bikes and ride across the bridge on opening day. I am SO excited for the pedestrian crossing. Sucks that the ambassador bridge removed it in favor of "one more lane bro" decades ago.

This is so cool! As a Chicagoan, I'm a little jealous! So happy for Detroit getting this!

I love the abundance of trails like these opening up all over the state. Makes many places more accessible and welcoming that show off the beauty of what Michigan has to offer.
