Feature Request: Set default view settings (lemmy.ml)

I would love to be able to set my default view to all (instead of local) and to hot (instead of active).

Or instead of changing a setting, let the app remeber the last view you used? Though, I wouldn't want it to default to the last community I was looking at.

If you go to setting and then account settings in the Jerboa app you can change default view.

You are totally right! I didn't see this one until after the most recent update 0.0.33!

Leaving this up for other clueless folks. But this feature has been completed in a record -19 hours.

You can do this already. From the home icon, click the three lines near the top, select the settings gear, then select your account you want to change the settings with.

From there, you'll see under the Banner options two dropdowns:

  • Default Listing Type
  • Default Sort Type.

Select what you want for, and restart the app. Enjoy!
