Can we create some community wiki. Ideally something less overwhelming than what is on Reddit wikies.

I imagine that some quick and dirty guide to brewing, not too many specific information and is easy to follow.

Is there any way to host something like that on lemmy itself or would it have to be off-site?

This is maybe better question.

We could have a few threads that would act as a kind of guide (starting recipes, equipment, ingredient suppliers, whathaveyou) and these could be added in the sidebar I guess.

I can write up an introduction to brewing beer, sticky it in the community and add it to the sidebar.

My experience is zero with cider and wine. Limited with mead - never did a 'clean one', usually had some sort of fruit juices in it. Anyone want to do a writeup on these and I'll sticky and sidebar them?

I can write something for cider and wine but it will take few days.

No deadlines here, we're all here to relax, not worry, have a homebrew :)

I don't think Lemmy has the ability to create wikis, so the closest thing would be a series of posts that you link in the sidebar
