That looks insane, how does that kind of cloud form?

IIRC, I think it’s when there’s wind the flows into valleys or mountains and causes the moist air to forced up. This is a really beautiful one, always striking to see!

We get those over Mount Rainier out here in western Washington! Looks like a big 'ol stack of flap jacks.
