Intel's Arc A770 and A750 were decent, if imperfect, GPUs at launch, but they've massively improved since then.

There's a comfy niche for Intel selling $200-350 GPUs. Glad to hear things have turned around for them some. Remember hearing that Intel was canning these things before they even launched/directly after launch and that would have been such a tragedy.

While they have improved, I don't see a world where an A770 8GB is a better purchase than an RX 6750XT for 99% of all use cases out there.

I have an RX 6600 (non XT), and I really think my next GPU will be an Arc.

Definitely good to have the competition in the space. I'm hoping linux support will continue to improve. nVidia is such a shitshow on linux, so having some competition with amd here will be wonderful.
