You're kicking ass, man. Keep it up.
Busy Saturday today, huh, Ernest? Keep it up and thanks for your hard work!
@HandOfKarma At the moment, I'm looking for a crowbar to get into the server room basement.
Oof, €150 per month and that's before any other costs are taken into account and I bet the main influx of Redditors hasn't even happened yet. I know you've got the buymeacoffee thing but do you have plans for how to fund kbin in the months & years ahead?
Actually yes, I do ;) I'll write more about it tomorrow, but today I'm completely exhausted.
If you need a dedicated core VM of this size (128G/32vCPU) you might want to consider renting a bare-metal server to host Kbin instead. There are many decent options on the server auction page.
Anyways good luck!
Keep fighting the good fight.
Would it be reasonable to ask that a maintenance page go up during downtimes? Sounds like a cloudflare worker could do this. I feel like a graceful failure would be much more user friendly, which I think might help us retain certain types of users who may be a little less persistent.

Also wonder if this will even sync over to kbin when it comes back online.
Aye, aye captain! I often have technical breaks myself. They involve me rushing outside and screaming.
