Whemever I read articles about AI, I have to ask myself if they're even worth it. Also, was the PII even real or did the bot just make it up like they are want to do.

It’s definitely food for thought, given that we’ve seen GPT hallucinate made up data it’s entirely possible it was or wasn’t. Prompt injection is going to be like the SQL injection of the 90’s all over again.

I think what seems to be regularly forgetten is that the original purpose for GPT, and by extension pretty much all of these generative AI, is to make a storyteller. It was designed for to be able to carry conversation. It was never worried about the accuracy of the things it said.

Worth the read. I do wish as we post these for a summary of what the link is if it were at all possible. The one we got here was very limited and could’ve been a bit more expressive but it was absolutely worth reading!
