Like Mastodon it’s ActivityPub-based, so you can subscribe to communities from your Mastodon account and have posts (and their comments, fully threaded!) appear in your Mastodon timeline. For example, here’s /c/composting on the SLRPNK instance: ‪@composting‬

At first I was a bit puzzled as to why one would post such a message 'here', but I guess including a link to a Lemmy community in a Mastodon toot results in the creation of a post on that Lemmy community.

Neat stuff! (And now, let's see if this results in a toot again...)

I'm a prospective Reddit refugee, and a wormkeeper (two indoor bins, both a mixture of ENCs and red wrigglers). I just joined Lemmy via lemmy.world.
