I agree with this article, and this loop is definitely why Netflix has seen drops in subscriber counts, as its difficult emotionally to get into a show that you know may be cancelled and the story never resolved or completed.

Absolutely. I just rewatched Travellers and can't believe that got cancelled. You reminded me about 1899 as well 😕
Travellers was great! I'm still mad at Netflix for that one
