Thanks for the heads-up!
"Upgrade instructions for Linux Mint 21 and 21.1 will be provided shortly." And now we wait :)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Looks like you can choose the upgrade in the Update Manager now!
Yes, just got the prompt in the System Reports!
I thought it was already realeased. I was trying to upgrade last night. I thought 12.1 was the new version.
No wonder it said I had already upgraded 😂😂
Just installed this yesterday as a dual-boot. For the most part I'm enjoying it so far, had a few issues before I updated the kernel including no sound but managed to fix that.
Now the only annoyance is that I remote into a Windows 10 work Pc on a multi-nonitor setup, unfortunately Remmina just doesn't handle zoom on a single display well at all and scales every monitor, so have had to start trying to get used to a lower zoom level on my bigger monitor.
My main OS since Linux Mint 17.3, and still very happy with it. Switched from MacOS after a 10 year Apple stint and haven't regretted it for even a second. My hardware needs were much cheaper if anything.
♥️lm and xfce
I changed it in the theme settings but what a depressing default folder colour.
