“Only” citalopram? Missing more then a day of that used to mess me up, hated those brain zaps!
I hope you get your refill soon! Also I’ve run out of Ritalin and have been in a rut all day, thanks for the reminder to go to the pharmacy.

Exciting, not so much, but missing my bupropion for a few days typically has me feeling like shit. After a couple of times of that, even my ADHD ass has enough motivation to stay on top of taking that.
"only (es)citalopram" withdrawal made me feel like I have a 9 volt in my brain zapping me every time I move my eyes. And that was during controlled tapering. It took me 6 months proper for them to go away. Now on my third month of tapering Trazodone which worked well for me with very little side effects but I feel ready to face the world with as little medication as possible. Funny thing, Trazodone doesn't give the brain zaps but the withdrawal headaches rival migraines. Going from 150mg to 75 was a piece of cake. Going from 75 to 50 made me question if I should really do this. Now alternating between 25 and 12.5 every other day, things are looking much better.
I also have a cabinet full of different antipsychotics and antidepressants. These lil buggers saved my life in more ways than one. Bipolar sucks but I'm glad to be in remission for now!
All 2 SSRIs I've been on have given me nervous system zaps as well, with any level of tapering.
You'll be ok! Remember that you aren't your anxiety, and you aren't your reaction to things. And you're going to feel better soon.
I'm on Citalopram as well but also on different epilepsy medications. I once went away overnight having forgotten to pack any medication and I won't be doing that ever again. I was a complete mess. Luckily didn't have a seizure but sticking to water seemed drunk one minute and hyper the next as all the various uppers and downers left my system...
Got myself home soon as, took the medication and went to bed.
Oh hey, I just recently ran out of my citalopram for a week thanks to issues with communication between my doctor's office and pharmacy. It was not fun. I feel you. Brain zap city.
Something I didn't expect was that the first couple days after restarting, I was kinda giddy and euphoric. Just in the best mood ever. So that was nice, I guess. Haha.
