There are quite a few that I want, but they charge an arm and a leg for them. Can someone please tell me how to get the highest-resolution version of an image for free? Example image (I would want the 5773 x 8660 version): https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/american-musician-elvis-presley-laughs-as-he-holds-a-comic-news-photo/533930319

Use AI to remove the watermarks and move on with life? If you can't get the highres image with watermarks you likely will not be able to magically get these images as they only give them toykou when you pay.

Can't you just go with the next lower resolution instead? It's usually not linearly but exponentially more expensive, the higher the resolution is.

I was hoping that someone would find a way to get the highest res for free. There has to be some way to do it, even if no one around here knows how. I'm hoping to make a torrent out of them (the pictures would be in a zip file, in order to reduce the chances of getting caught without VPN). I just want it to be such that anyone can get all of the Wertheimer photos in max res without having to sell their house first. Getty charges way too much money for full-size photos.

You can use AI to remove watermarks and upscale.
