macOS gatekeeper vs homebrew (feddit.de)

To update Librewolf on a mac I am using homebrew (because it seems like the obvious choice for an application with no build in update mechanism). This however means that every time I complete an update macOS gatekeeper interrupts my workflow an asks me to go to the settings to reapprove Librewolf again. I am curious if there are any good workarounds for that.

BTW I have tried installing using the --no-quarantine flag provided by homebrew but this flag does not change behavior when using brew upgrade.

hello! since we don't have a paid Apple Developer license there's not really a workaround.
