usb 2
But why?
I have a question about current motorola phones, can I unlock the bootloader easily? I had moto z2 and at the time I had to beg my chinese overlord for unlock and they needed time to think about it for a week or so and consult with Santa about my behaviour, is it still the same?
I was able to get the unlock code from the Motorola website, but if this is a concern for you, I would recommend the Pixel A series instead. You're going to have the best bet with bootloader unlocking on those devices.
I have pixel 4 and pixel 1 right now, both are getting old, pixel 4 was bought in official google store in us not carrier locked, it was bugged and couldn't be unlocked, support said sucks to suck just go to store and we will give you a new one. Problem was, at the time I was on another continent already. π«
Oh, I'm sorry you had that experience. I had the original pixel, and the pixel 3a, and had both of them unlocked. Oneplus is also pretty good about unlocking their boot loaders without too much hassle. So that might be something you might also consider. If you're interested in running lineage OS, just look at the official website to see what one plus devices are supported before purchasing. I currently have the OnePlus Nord N200 5G Unlocked running lineage OS 21
usb 2
But why?
Because its a midrange smartphone. If you need USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 you need to buy a flagship smartphone.
Note: USB version 2 and 3 correspond to data transfer speeds. The USB is still type C if that was the reason for confusion.
That's a dumb reason. Why don't we go for usb 1.1 so proles understand their place better? I know that usb type-c is a connector.

USB 1.1 is not made anymore. USB 2.0 has always been the minimum standard. USB 3.1 is considered a premium feature. The last time I had to transfer data was a year ago when I was setting new phone. Even then it could've been done wirelessly. Its not a necessary feature like a good camera, battery so its always ignored.
Same with wireless charging. Although some manufacturers(Motorola) may include it in their midrange phones.

Sorry, I was surprised you asked this question. Manufacturers have been omitting USB 3.0 from midrange and sometimes even flagship smartphones since ages ago. This has always been the case. Surprised you didn't notice this sooner.
