Man commits and is found guilty of insurrection in his own country. Man then flees country, giving false reason for entering other country. Man then has an extended expensive vacation, telling the media that he’s claimed asylum.

Those responsible for processing asylum seekers at the border find out and appoint him an interview date; instead of showing up, he proposes an alternative date. He is then arrested, and claims it’s politically motivated.

I smell snowflake syndrome.

"He's already made too many promises in the public spotlight that it would look really bad if he didn't," Vo said. "And he's a man of his word."

We are so fucking doomed.

Good riddance.

Phew, good to know in Canada we are keeping our border secure from criminals like this guy.

Is he one of the people that did physical damage to the building or is he one of the people that stayed away from the building and never touched the property but got arrested anyways?
