Fair reason to do it, not against it since they didn't do it retroactively or anything. Bit sad to see it go from something meaning tomorrow/art + home/country to just "invention" though. Lot of flavor lost there for people who know hindi.

It is cool to see them bringing in language experts to ensure the new name doesn't also have any bad connotations, but I'm not sure if I would have preferred this instead of just putting an accent or stress mark to indicate the correct meaning.
The in universe explanation of the name change is good though.
This all sounds reasonable to me. An understandable motivation for changing, and a sensible way of approaching it.
