Seems like people don’t understand since OP didn’t bother to mention it. There was a bug on the Logitech store where you could buy these for $0. It’s obviously no surprise that all these orders were cancelled.

That said, if you want a great shifter, go with Aiologs!

Ah, thanks for correcting, I didn't even know about that bug, I thought Logitech just discontinued that product all together. I edited the title to clarify

My bad, misunderstood your post. The Logitech is not bad for a starting shifter. I would seriously recommend anyone in the market for a shifter to look up Aiologs. They are built like tanks and there’s no plastic. I haven’t tried the H-Shifter but the sequential and hand brake have lasted me years and have a real nice throw to them.

Logitech has become dogshit and I've since long started avoiding it. First their mice died like once a year, then they stopped supporting their older hardware which forced you to run like two to three different pieces of software of you wanted to keep its functionality. Haven't looked back since I moved on, they can suffocate on their enshittified nonsense.

Are they releasing a new shifter and discontinuing this old one? Not necessarily bad, this one has been around for a while.

The Thrustmaster TH8S might be a viable alternative. Slightly more expensive, but compatible with all platforms.
