IIRC there is at least one recorded case of a microlight being shot down by an annoyed nude sunbather. In south Africa, IIRC, probably 1990-ish.

@eff@mastodon.social This one ends with anonymous drones shooting down the official government ones. That in turn will become a problem that the government will "Crack down on any day now!" .... "any day now" ....

Years ago when I worked in Champaign-Urbana, the local cops routinely reported "deer sightings" over police radio to alert other officers of female students sunbathing.
