There should be a option to block an instance in your client. Use that.

Just don't subscribe to any hexbear munis, yeah?

You’d also have to not browse all the fediverse and stick to your instance, assuming your instance isn’t federated with hexbear.

Blocking is simple and removes any unknowns there
