Rules for Posting Guides on Our Community

1. Defining a Guide Guides are comprehensive reference materials, how-tos, or comparison tables. A guide must be well-organized both in content and layout. Information should be easily accessible without unnecessary navigation. Guides can include flowcharts, step-by-step instructions, or visual references that compare different elements side by side.

2. Infographic Guidelines Infographics are permitted if they are educational and informative. They should aim to convey complex information visually and clearly. However, infographics that primarily serve as visual essays without structured guidance will be subject to removal.

3. Grey Area Moderators may use discretion when deciding to remove posts. If in doubt, message us or use downvotes for content you find inappropriate.

4. Source Attribution If you know the original source of a guide, share it in the comments to credit the creators.

5. Diverse Content To keep our community engaging, avoid saturating the feed with similar topics. Excessive posts on a single topic may be moderated to maintain diversity.

6. Verify in Comments Always check the comments for additional insights or corrections. Moderators rely on community expertise for accuracy.

I thought this community is about helpful/serious guides and not jokes.

I'd rather have fun dumb guides than serious guides that are terrible or inaccurate.

I'd rather have serious guides that are cool and accurate than "fun" dumb guides.

It's a cool guide. Why are you being sour

What is it with people who condemn anything fun in "serious" communities? Whether you comment a joke in a news community or post a joke guide in a guide community, people will get angry because someone tried to make them laugh. Why? Can't we let the people giggling giggle and scroll past?

It is literally written in the community rules that it should be serious guides only.

And it is pretty egoistical to force your "fun" onto people wo explicitly stated they don't want that.

If you want joke guides why don't you make a jokeguides community? To much hassle to make people laught?

Joke guides community actually sounds like a good solution for that but the only mod of this community was last active 1 month ago and he would need to moderate this community to redirect people... We would also need to find someone who would want to moderate the new joke guides community too.

This is a serious guide. Is it too simple for your liking?

I was expecting an ass-moon(ing) joke. It wasn't there. So not a joke guide.

... tho they don't specify with what is the astronaut waving at you ...

I saw ine night a light in the sky that moved around really bizarrely. Kind of up, then back down. A little left, a little right. It was like it was wandering. And while there were stars around it that were still, this light wasn't the only wanderer. It couldn't be an orbiting satellite, so... some aircraft, then? I have no idea.

I should really get a telescope.
