It's really amazing how hard people will go out of their way to hate people they don't even know.

People are very susceptible to us vs. them propaganda spewed by those in power wishing to use those sentiments to solidify their own grip on power.

Yes!

And as if it werent already a lot to handle, we have to stay vigilant of ourselves. Facism can emerge right out of liberalism disguised as the only path forward.

Being homeless and free is infinitely better than being under a roof in any one of those red States people. I promise. If you need help, for the love of all you hold dear, reach out for help!

:/ Not very fair to all the allies and other trans peoples and folks that fight tyranny within these places. I bet we can come up with a better answer than mass murder?

I feel so lucky my parents went with Michigan instead of Tennessee (family in both)... It has been pretty much painless to get on HRT, change all my names, change my gender marker even on my birth certificate, etc. All as an adult though. So far I've never had issues in the bathrooms, though I'm almost never in rural areas, that could be a very different story.
