- Why do you have seconds on your clock
- I hate the searchbar at the bottom

The searchbar on the bottom is very nice for big phones as you don't have to move your hand to get it
It may have its practical use, but I've got to admit it feels like standing facing the back of an elevator. There's nothing wrong about it per se, but it seems awkward due to decades of social conditioning.
I have kinda gotten used to it being like that because I have it like that for 2-3 years now and didn't even notice, so I'm not really able to say how socially acceptable it is but I have gotten comments before when people looked at my phone
Nothing wrong with that! I just don't think I'd adjust well to it myself. I still haven't adapted to the discord layout change from last year, not to mention web 3.0. I'm too set in my ways with technology
Might be an age thing as I'm still quite young, idk about you
I'm ... pretty old lol. That could be why.
Unless you tend to use your phone in landscape like me.
It still feels weird anyway.
i like the bottom searchbar, i have a large phone
and the seconds in the clock are useful to me
I'm pretty sure the bottom bar is the default by now, and it definitely makes more sense
Now I want seconds on clock. How do I do that
i don't think it exists in stock android, but it is in lineage and calyx
additionally, ou can use (mostly) any extensions on firefox android now!
I like the seconds. Unfortunately, it isn't available on my phone. But there is something called "floating clock" in developer settings which does have seconds. It's always on screen wherever I place it.
It looks like this:
