I hate that this is still an issue nowadays, and use this as proof that big corpos are holding us back.
They're not helping develop the internet or technology, they're actively working against that to keep us locked in their walled gardens.

Apple is notorious about that. With my Android if I wanted a file off of it, I’d plug it into my computer, browse and grab it. It’s a freaking pain in the ass on an iPhone. Especially with something as simple as a picture in WhatsApp for example

I use KDE connect to send stuff between Android, windows, and Linux. Send files, clipboard contents, even use your android phone as a mouse for your PC.
