I imagine at least part of it is that it’s seen as likely going to be the last opportunity to give the actors, especially Patrick Stewart, these awards.
It's about the basics. More Borg, more awards.
While assimilation is commonly used to crush helpless worlds, just a few nanites can also be used to swing key votes.
Perfect example of why awards are useless.
I gave up on picard after one and a half seasons
I know I can be picky, but I fail to see how it deserved awards for anything
Well you didn't watch season 3, which is the season that actually won these awards.
I watched all 3 seasons. Season 3 should be recognized for its special effects and acting - the new characters and classic ones both perform well. Too bad it was in service to such an unneeded story.
That's a half season longer than I gave it.
The worst star trek TV shows and they still get awards.
SNW is in the upper tier of Star Trek shows.
SNW had too many colors, everybody knows you're not allowed to win awards with any more than two tones.
