"The Guide says there is an art to flying", said Ford, "or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."
That is actually a pretty accurate summary of how orbits work.
Bro, I sat in planes before, it’s not that hard
The scar on my forehead from honestly trying to fly is all of the evidence that I need that I honestly tried to fly.
The boy who lived!
Me. I have. No, like, I've literally had flight lessons, 10/10 highly recommended.
Is their some frequency I should be flapping my arms to cus like planes and gliders are expensive and they need maintenance
From random stack exchange nonsense: 750Hz-ish? Idk would be nice to run some actual fluid dynamics on, you'd probably run into issues with that pesky sound barrier...
But in all seriousness a paramotor is relatively cheap ($10-15k ish depending on how much you spend on a training program). I've only flown fixed-wing since I got financial aid for lessons (there are a TON of scholarships out there if you're serious about flying, there's a huge pilot shortage right now).
cover yourself in oil
I mean I have not researched but I tried pretty hard to jump off the ground and will myself up so I could fly like my dreams and I think that counts.
All the damn time as a kid. So no one can say I didn't try.
You didn't try hard enough.
