this is obviously a good thing--but it's only natural that people would get mad at the idea that it's bad actually for tabletop gaming to incorporate mythological elements which aren't strongly associated with europeans, lol. culture war brain is very real for a lot of fragile white men on the internet, and every act which promotes minority cultures or reflects the incredible diversity of the world gets read as white genocide in their minds.
