So who's going to try their hand at installing this?

My condolences! Would you interested in upgrading your screen or replacing it to stock?

I'm big fan of punchy colors which is my biggest motivator to upgrade to a 1200p display and scale down for performance. Counter intuitive I know, but the 3rd party screen is supposed to have higher color accuracy, or so I've read.

The vibrant deck decky plugin has quelled the itch for me giving me punchy colors. However, if I have to tear my deck apart anyway to do a shell swap anyway... Idk.. I just might replace my screen in the process!

I'm assuming you were replying to me? Honestly I just plan on getting the proper replacement from ifix it, I don't have any issues with my old screen (barring the damage) and as you said vibrant deck is there

On the other hand the gulikit sticks do tempt me, along with an SSD upgrade

I did the 1tb upgrade about a week into owning my deck. One of the easiest things I've ever done. Have never tried the gulikit I've had my deck since September and the joysticks have been excellent can't say the same about my switch. got drift twice.
