Hmmm. Any news on this? The blog post is about a week old and at the time there was lots of talk about how the rust team needed time to sort things out. I’m guessing nothing official has come out?
I haven't heard anything newer yet, but I guess this takes them a bit of time to properly figure out. At the very least I got the impression that the Rust Project well aware of the issues this time.
Aware, yes, to the point where they should have acted before something went wrong. It’ll be interesting to see what happens and how people around the periphery but in the know react.
