Apart from shouting attack names, I can’t stand the current wave of over-powered-since-the-beginning isekai protagonists. I like when the main character has a growth throughout the series, learning from their mistakes and losses, I haven’t seen anything like that in isekais recently.
This was one of my biggest gripe with Overlord, much to my partner's disappointment (maybe). The main character wasn't just saying the names, but he was explaining the moves and it felt very "telling, not showing." It came across as condescending to me and I accepted that I was not the target demographic for this anime.
