Do they have some kind of explanation somewhere of what they do with the beans? I'm intrigued -- but that is some heftyyy shipping.
I think just what's on the page, but there's a bit of info there. It sounds like they take the green beans, then put them in the charred bourbon barrel (there's a photo in the slideshow), then "age" them (it doesn't say for how long), then after it's aged they roast them.
I am also very intrigued and keen to try it. It's odd that I can't actually find it on their website, only from the direct link.
Odd, but I think I respect the confidence.
They talk about it selling out fast. So I mostly worry that they removed it from the website when it sold out but didn't remove the direct link.
Alternatively they might not have announced the next batch yet. I just ordered 1KG so I will see if it goes through. @cloventt@lemmy.nz said on the previous post not to get a large bag... but I need to make the most of the shipping cost so I've just gone for the big bag. Probably should have got two bags to make the shipping even better.
Edit: Have received confirmation it's being shipped
