Iโve used the EF nib on a Safari, and found it horribly scratchy. But fortunately, the 2000 uses a different style of nib, and I find it very nice to use; not exactly super smooth, but not harsh at all.
My go-to ink is Iroshizuku Asa-gao. I do want to try Herbin at some point as well.
