Beehaw's community for socialists, communists, anarchists, and non-authoritarian leftists (this means anti-capitalists) of all stripes. A place for all leftist and labor news and discussion, as long as you're nice about it.

Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

The article mostly refers to cnn, msnbc, and fox news. Fox news, in their own words, are not a news company.

While I'm sure the point still stands, including fox news into their metrics for "media" is a little bit misleading when you're trying to make a generalization across the industry.

This also gives credence to the notion that fox news has any credibility at all, considering that they're well known to twist stories to make anything democrats do a bad thing, and anything republicans do a good thing. That's their whole MO. What's the point in including them in any discussion?

I think you may not have read the whole article. They did a great job showing the difference and how fox was purposeful in their disinformation (even describing how they decided to redefine recession) and the others were just a little sloppy.

You're right. I got tricked by the clickbait article title and image preview showing off fox. I then only skimmed the beginning section.
