i want the fediverse as a whole to pull a tumblr and just make any attempts for companies to enter the space and monetize things to be met with such immense hostility, that companies see entering the fediverse as a potential PR nightmare waiting to happen. like can you imagine, starbucks tries to join the fediverse and everyone just starts using it for union organizing lmao
