If the company is touting privacy, then I'd assume that the data is either stored on the device itself or on a secure network. However, I'm not sure since this isn't discussed.

To answer all of your other questions we'll just wait to see when tech writers get their hands on it. I will, certainly, be watching out for all of the claims being made.
