Have to admit though, the ecosystem does make their products work better. A lot better. The synergy between apple devices has gotten crazier since I last used them.
Depends on your profession I suppose. I use Linux for work and Android integrates with my workflow beautifully.
My partner has iOS+Mac, enjoys Airdrop and whatnot but I love something like MiXplorer that is more powerful than even desktop file managers. It can simply mount my google drive or smb share as a folder.
Recently I've been trying to get a real debrid streaming solution to work on my partner's ipad/iphone and it has been an absolute PITA while it has been largely painless for me on Android. Or stuff like using my own VPN though a shadowsocks proxy with split tunneling.
Only place I've seen iOS be genuinely better than Android is in note taking apps like GoodNote. I love my Android tab but I wish it had the iOS apps. Unfortunately iOS didn't work out well for my teaching workflow where I export my notes into different formats, do overlays etc.
