All submissions must be directly about the Star Trek franchise (the shows, movies, books etc.). Off-topic discussions are welcome at c/quarks.

As a fairly recent Fediverse user it just tickles me to see folks from other services pop up in mine.
I can select an instance that has the sort of community and atmosphere I like, and still not be limited to just that particular instance or service. Here I am using Beehaw, talking with a Mastodon user on another Lemmy instance. How neat is that? ๐
Agree. I think it's so cool too. I'm excited for the months to come to see the process and interfaces refine more and more.
Unfortunately Lemmy federation is more than a bit borked, so eg. my reply isn't visible at all on Mastodon (you can check here) and a lot of the content on this thread isn't on Beehaw at all. You can see me because you're also on Beehawโฆ
I have high hopes for the platform but it's going to be a bumpy ride ๐
