The URL of this post links to a pinned post on !lemmyapps@lemmy.world with a comprehensive list of apps for Lemmy.

Number of client apps for each platform as of writing:

  • Mobile:
    • Android: 14 ,
    • iOS: 10 ,
  • Desktop:
    • Windows: 1 ,
    • MacOS: 1 ,
    • Linux: 4 ,
  • Web based:
    • PWA: 2 ,
    • Proxies: 2 ,

The number of alternative clients cropping up over the last month is somewhat dizzying, so I figured it'd be worth posting here so folks could comment on which apps are most accessible, which apps they'd recommend currently, and which apps still have a ways to go with respect to:

  • screen readers support
  • general UI navigation
  • high contrast visibility
  • assistive OS compatibility
  • etc

I'd normally just crosspost, to embed the original post here directly, but as it is pinned and being actively updated, I figured it best to redirect to the original post instead.
