Hey fellow Lemmies! I recently came across a YouTube channel that posts 10 AI-generated videos every day, and it got me thinking. With the exponential growth of AI technology, experts predict that 90% of online content will be generated by AI by 2025. This means that the amount of content on YouTube and other platforms will increase significantly. But will YouTube be able to store and handle all that data?

How do you feel about this trend? Do you think YouTube and other platforms should embrace AI-generated content, or do you have concerns? Let's discuss and share our thoughts!

Completely flooding the internet with sludge is honestly something I hope AI will do. Algorithmically generated sludge will game any and all platform algorithms and finally put an end to the utility of corporate driven social media and their ability to negatively influence our society. People will be sucked in to watching it for a period of time, but most of us will move on and talk to people and entertain each other in real life instead of in this awful and depressing virtual world we've constructed.
