what is the best way to learn C ? I know basic python but would like to learn C, I tried searching online but couldn't find a good resource that's good for a beginner like me. any suggestions ?

This thread already has some good recommendations, I would also suggest you check out Raylib engine (https://www.raylib.com/) of you're interested in learning through game development.

It's free, open source, written in pure C, and designed with educational purposes in mind.
