I came across FreshRSS as well while looking for alternatives to Feedly, but can't be bothered to host it myself and I couldn't figure out how to get an account on any of the providers from the list, I only get a login page but no signup page.
I noticed that some showed no way to sign up, but at least one does. https://rss.cheredeprince.net/ and click
Also some more possibilities: https://www.chatons.org/search/by-service?service_type_target_id=129&field_alternatives_aux_services_target_id=All&field_software_target_id=All&field_is_shared_value=All&title=
I'm unfamiliar with Fresh RSS but I signed up with cheredeprince and have already added a feed, reading it on my PC.
Not sure how to use it on my phone yet.
