Right to Repair/Ownership

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde "oem" parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.

I really hope the manufacturers don't just make EU versions of phones cuz I bet this wouldn't pass in the US

I doubt something like that will happen because it would only complicate designing they products etc. They would also lose their arguments about "safety" and shit. But it absolutely wouldn't surprise me if that happened because it's corporations that we are talking about.
