In Candyman, the scene where Tony Todd had bees flying out of his mouth were REAL BEES. Todd only agreed to do the scene if they pay him $1000 for every bee sting. He earned $27,000 for that scene (files.catbox.moe)

technically you should use a space to separate the thousands (e.g. $27 000), as this avoids the ambiguity

But who has time for   in their lives?
